Warm spring and summer leading to ideal flowering and ripening conditions, with a short period of rain in February.

Hand-picked, whole bunch pressed and fermentation in stainless steel. Fermentation stopped at 6.5%VOL.

TASTING NOTES:
This luscious wine obtained its name from the
Italian Vintner, who started planting this vineyard in Martinborough in 1989. Lightly golden in colour with high viscosity this wine combines flavours of peaches, apricots and zesty citrus aromas with layers of
floral honey; all nicely balanced by a crisp acidity.

CELLARING: now to 10 years
