CLIMATIC CONDITIONS: Cool spring and late-frosts causing tiny crops while a long and dry summer / autumn ensured ideal ripening conditions.
DATE OF HARVEST: 1 and 5 May 2003
HARVEST & VINIFICATION: Hand-picked and 100 % de-stemmed. Fermentation in stainless steel vats and maceration for 3 weeks. Aged in 75 % new and 25 % used French Oak barriques for 27 months.

TASTING
NOTES:
Dark and intense purple colour; highly expressive, rich nose of blackberry, cherry and crème de cassis with hints of dark chocolate, spice box, coffee and an abundance of ripe, sweet tannins. A full-bodied and voluptuous Bordeaux blend with explosive and superbly textured long finish.
