Schubert Wines was awarded a GOLD Medal for our 2010 Schubert Pinot Noir "Marion's Vineyard" at the INTERNATIONAL WINE CHALLENGE™ in the United Kingdom, 2012.


The judges said: "Deep crimson. Fresh, spicy soft fruit on nose. Rich round and complex on the palate with succulent fruit tones and a long silky finish."

Cameron Douglas is New Zealand's first and only Master Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers worldwide, and the South Pacific Director for the Global Guild of Sommeliers. He also is a wine writer, commentator and reviews all kind of beverages which includes judging at Wine Award Shows. Recently he enjoyed being Head Judge at China Sommelier of the Year in Shanghai.
