ORIGIN:

CLIMATIC CONDITIONS: Quite cool summer with high precipitation but April was very warm and dry.
DATE OF HARVEST: 30 April and 7 May 2004
HARVEST & VINIFICATION: Hand-picked and 100% de-stemmed.
Cold-maceration and fermentation in stainless steel vats and
left on "skins" for 3 weeks. Aged in 30 % new and
70 % used French oak barriques for 15 months
DATE OF BOTTLING: 17 October 2005
ALC: 14.5% VOL
TASTING
NOTES: Gorgeously ripe and sweet aromas of blackberries and boysenberries with some toasty notes, this ruby coloured wines has a medium to full body with a typical cherry filled pallet and a long lasting finish with some earthy-spicy characters and a good tannin structure.
DRINKING TEMPERATURE: 16-18 ºC
CELLARING: 4 - 8 years
